Unfortunately, since 2012, the organization allocating addresses (RIPE NCC for Europe) ceased to issue IPv4 addresses for depletion of the blocks of such addresses.

Moreover, to get addresses, it is necessary to have the Local Internet Registrator (LIR) status, while Provider-independent (PI) addresses that any entity could obtain, are not issued in principle.

The only way to get IPv4 ALLOCATED is the transfer of addresses from another LIR.

If your organization has the LIR status and you approach on good grounds your business, then you should consider purchasing an IPv4 ALLOCATED block.

The „transfer of IPv4 addresses“ service allows you to transfer a block of IPv4 addresses from our LIR to your LIR.

If you are not prone to buy it, you might consider leasing.

Description:

Following the transfer, you become the principal owner of such a block. Only the Supporting LIR is changing.

The resulting block will be the same as if you were receiving it directly from RIPE NCC.

Properties:

Please note the following properties:

• Тhe Size of the transmitted block cannot be less than /24.

• The receiving LIR must confirm that it will create sub-blocks of type ASSIGNED PA.

• According to RIPE NCC directives, it is not allowed to re-transmit the received block for 2 years (24 months).

IPv4 LEASING

This service provides blocks of IPv4 addresses such as ASSIGNED PA or ALLOCATED PA from our company’s pool with further maintenance.

The obtained block can be announced from any Autonomous System (AS). You obtain full access to the RIPE NCC database, where you can create and modify route and domain objects.

MAINTENANCE IPv4

Description:

Within the coverage of the service, we offer maintenance for the transfer of IPv4 addresses of the ASSIGNED PI type of another LIR. You keep the ownership of such a block. Only the supporting LIR changes.

On September 14, 2012, RIPE NCC announced the distribution of the last /8 block (16.8 million addresses). Following that the rules for issuing IPv4 addresses were amended and a new ASSIGNED PI was created.

What is a PI address?

PI addresses are provider-independent IP addresses („Provider Independent“ or „PI“), a small number of which could be routed regardless of the upstream provider.

Provider Independent addresses (or PI) are not allocated from provider blocks, but from RIR blocks (Regional Internet Registry; in the particular case, RIPE NCC). The number of allocated PI addresses is usually small, they are routed in separate small blocks (/24 and more or /48 IPv6) and are not consolidated into large blocks.

Properties:

Take note of the following circumstances: in accordance with the RIPE NCC guidelines, the use of address space of the type ASSIGNED PI is permitted only for the own infrastructure.

IPv6 leasing and maintenance.

Description:

We provide support in obtaining IPv6 addresses block of the ASSIGNED PI type and its ongoing maintenance.

There are two options for obtaining the block:

• Registration of new addresses, taking into account the clients’ requirements;

• Transfer of available client addresses from another LIR.

In the first case, an application is formed in RIPE NCC. The addresses will be registered to you. We will become a supporting LIR.

In the second case, there will be only a change of the supporting LIR. You remain the owner of the addresses.

Properties:

Please note the following:

• The Standard size of the obtained block is /48. Justification is required for obtaining a larger block.

• Block size /48 can be announced only completely. Upstream providers filter out smaller announcements.

• According to the RIPE NCC directives, the use of address space of the ASSIGNED PI is permissible for an own infrastructure only.

LEASING IPV6

In this case, you get a block of IPv6 addresses from our company’s pool. You can use the obtained block as provider-independent.

Description

This service provides blocks of IPv4 addresses such as ALLOCATED-BY-RIR from the pool of our company with further maintenance.

The obtained block can be announced from any Autonomous system (AS). You will have full access to the RIPE NCC database, where you can create and modify route, domain, and inet6num objects.

AS MAINTENANCE

Description

We provide support in obtaining an Autonomous system (AS) and its further maintenance. There are 2 options for obtaining an AS:

• Registration of a new AS with the requirements of the client;

• Transfer of the existing AS of the client from another LIR.

In the first case, an application is formed in RIPE NCC. AS will be registered to you. We will become a maintenance LIR.

In the second case, there will be only a change of the supporting LIR. You will remain the owner of AS.

Properties

Note the following:

• By default, RIPE NCC registers a 32-bit AS. If You need a 16-bit AS, this should be explicitly specified at registration.

Tariffs

The tariff plan is formed by two components: the initial lump sum payment for the transfer or registration and the annual – for maintenance. The lump sum fee does not include the annual fee.
